During a cross-country RV trip, my husband and I enjoyed exploring the best casinos in Tunica, Mississippi. Here are our recommendations for visiting this unique destination, just twenty minutes south of downtown Memphis, Tennessee.

With the distinction of having the “largest indoor pool in Tunica,” Hollywood Casino & Hotel also offers priority tee times at the River Bend Links Golf Course, formerly a cotton field.

Jack Binion created the Horseshoe Tunica, a super sparkly and gorgeous casino named after the family’s famous Binion’s Horseshoe Club. It was the first gambling hall and saloon in Vegas. The casino features exciting slots, but the main attractions are the table games and Caesar’s Sportsbook.

The Horseshoe Tunica offers three casual restaurants, two quick bites, and one fine dining option, which genuinely impressed me. Jack Binion’s Steak is a stylish upscale space known for its jaw-dropping seafood tower and the 24 oz. Prime Tomahawk Ribeye. Additionally, a live music venue hosts great entertainment, including country music stars like Colt Ford and Rodney Carrington.

If you stay overnight, the Horseshoe Tunica Hotel provides modern rooms ( suites) with 42″ LED-screen TVs. The amenities include an outdoor pool and gym. Remember to use your Caesar’s Rewards casino loyalty club card to earn points on your spending.

Gold Strike Resort & Casino

Once a circus tent, the property has transformed into a stunning story high-rise. Gold Strike Resort & Casino offers over hotel rooms with Mississippi Delta views, along with a conference center.
