I recently stayed here on a two week business trip. Two weeks in a hotel is not really an experience to look forward to, but the staff and facilities at the Pan Pacific made me feel very comfortable and in a genuine home-away-from-home. I was under intense pressure and worked very long hours during my stay, so it was the 5 star experience that gave my time in Perth some ability to relax. The room was clean, quiet and generous in size. The staff were friendly, respectful and very welcoming. Nothing was ever too much trouble and I never felt let down by any of the services. I ate at the hotel most nights and the food was always delivered within the specified time and was perfectly prepared. Food quality is very important to me and is one of the things that can make or break my impression of a hotel. Again, I was never disappointed. I would like to thank Arshad for looking after me at check-in. Your genuine desire to make me feel like a welcome guest was both unexpected and greatly appreciated. I've stayed at other "5 Star" hotels in Perth and have never felt so welcomed. Travelling for work is generally not an enjoyable experience, but I look forward staying at the Pan Pacific the next time I'm in Perth.

Chose to stay here as we had a bad experience at a cheaper hotel near by last time. For a extra $20 we got a 5 star experience. Super huge comfortable bed, ultra clean room. This hotel is no spring chicken, but fairly well kept. Quiet location off the highway. My first stay here and have already booked for my next trip with a late arrival into Perth. The menu was a little on the expensive side so we ate elsewhere ( put off by negative comments about restaurant also). Bit far from dining options but we drove the 6km to Albany Highway, Victoria Park where there are plenty of choices, even on a Monday night.

Don't normally stay at older style properties when on business trips but all the 5 star Perth hotels were waaaaay over budget. Ambassador Hotel was pleasantly surprising. Lobby and restaurant are dated but rooms / bathrooms have been renovated. Food in restaurant good and with economical options. 24 hour lobby mini bar (great idea!) and. Ending machine. Guest laundry onsite excellent. Staff wonderful. Onsite Parking cheap as chips!! If you don't like paying the ridiculous prices most other properties in Perth are charging then the Ambassador Hotel is a great option. Will return, definitely.

The hotel is rated 5 start but compared to other 5 star hotels I have stayed at, I would say its more like a 4 star. Its expensive for what it is but I think Perth hotel prices are more expensive in general. The staff were very friendly as most people are in Perth, and accommodating. The food was ok - not great, again, expensive for what it was. The room was modern and spotless and the bed very comfortable. The location was also great as you could walk to the CBD if you wanted to or there is a bus stop across the road which I took to the CBD which is free.

It may not be the greatest and newest hotel in Perth or the fanciest but we found the hotel to have a very good quality vs price ratio. When you first get in and you walk to corridor leading to the room you wonder how the room will be. But it change when we got in. Room are extremely clean, good bed, pillow and nice fixtures. Price a good and the staff have been extremely helpful with us and accomodating.

The wife and I treated ourselves to a weekend away at the Crown and could not fault anything over the weekend we stayed. The service was fantastic. We were able to check in straight away and upon mentioning it was an anniversary the staff sent up a bottle of sparkling and chocolates which was a great surprise. The price of the room whilst on the expensive side was spotlessly clean and a great size compared to other hotels in Perth. The options for food and entertainment in the complex could not be faulted either with a raft of choices to cater for pretty much any budget. We will most definitely be staying again.

It is the second time we have stayed at this hotel - and mainly due to the impeccable room and services that we received the first time. It is a PERFECT getaway for a couple and six stars doesn't do it justice. The fact that you are far enough away from the main casino yet more than achievable walking distance is a huge plus. The decor is magical and I truly feel as a Perth resident that I am in a different city when I stay here. The pool is incredible, the cocktail bar enticing and hours can be spent there in the lavish, art deco surroundings whilst sipping on beautiful cocktails and gourmet food. The buffet restaurant downstairs is a great breakfast/lunch or dinner and looks out over the pool. I just can't recommend this hotel enough. I plan on returning many times. For me, the beds in hotels HAVE to be good and the beds and pillows, bowling, and dressing gown make you feel as if you are in pure luxury. GO HERE!!

Great place to stay when in Perth. Very friendly staff. I booked 2 bedroom apartment, and they upgraded me to 3 floor town house with 3 bed rooms. Walkable distance to Perth city center. I parked the car at the hotel, and then just use cat bus to go around Perth city.

Small, cosy apartment hotel with lovely and relaxing view of the pier. Really loved the location. We got recommended a nearby restaurant called 'Propeller' which is in our opinion, one of the best in Perth! What's even more awesome is that hotel guests get a 10% discount off the bill. Really appreciate the friendly reception ladies and them going the extra mile to receive a parcel I ordered online for delivery. Everything was well taken care of! Will be back definitely :)

We paid $170 for 2 nights, double bed and a single bed in the city with free parking, most Perth hotel charge upwards of $20/night for parking. Small room but enough space. Very good value. Only downside are the walls are quite thin and you can hear your neighbours.

I would certainly recommend this motel. They provided everything including a little kitchen space with plates, cutlery, microwave and even items to wash the plates. Good value for money and the best part was free parking which most hotels in Perth did not provide. Further, the hotel food was delicious and we even got a discount. No regrets. Highly recommended!

Originally thought it was a bit pricey when booking, but that says more about my limited hotel stays than the Mantra itself. On arrival at the room, I quickly realised that it, and the facilities had far exceeded my expectations. It was close enough to all the venues we had planned to visit. The kids and wife loved it and we had an extremely memorable stay in Perth, that was in no small part also due to the Mantra and its staff. Thankyou

I was a little apprehensive about the overall facility and the sound insolation of the apartment after reading from the reviews as this property was our 3rd choice after all the ones that in our 1st and 2nd choices list was taken up. I was wrong (so many of the reviewers were unfair about their comments) as the property fits our needs and requirements perfectly. The staff service was 5 stars as they had fulfilled our requirements for a unit away from the main road facing the highway. The staff placed us at back unit (apartment 206). As we were arriving late after their office hours (they closed at 6pm), they had dropped us an email detailing where to collect the key if we were to arrive after their operating hours. Similarly, as we were checking out before midnight, they had requested that we only drop the key at the security box. Amazing, all thought of to ensure guests have hassle free check in. Despite the building looks a little aged, but the cleanliness of the property and equipment (including cooking utensils, cutleries, oven, cattle, bread-toaster) are dated. One very plus point (which my wife is appreciative of) is the unit comes with washing machine and a dryer; this certainly helps when you are traveling with kids and many days away from home. The unit size is sufficient with sofa, dining table and very comfortable bed for a family of 4. As for the location, it is very ideal as it is rightly located at the boarder of CBD and south-Perth. Be it if you are going North of Perth, South of Perth and Fremantle, it sits centrally. I will certainly go back to this apartment if I am back again, and yes, I would truly recommend everyone to stay there.

The location of the hotel is in West Perth, not far away from the hustle and bustle of the city if you drive. The best part of staying in this hotel is the free parking that comes with the booking. The parking lot is just a couple of blocks away, roughly 3-4 mins walk. The public parking lots outside the hotel are free after 6pm/before 8am and on weekends, so it's quite convenient as well. The room is clean with decent amenities like a small gym. The only comment that we have is that we don't always see the staff at the front desk, perhaps they were in the office located behind the desk. This makes it seems weird (like lack of hospitality and human touch) as most of the hotels we stayed are manned 24/7. There was a fire alarm which went off at 6am but it turned out to be a false one which the hotel had no control over. I thought the incident could have been handled better as we did not hear any evacuation message over the PA system & there were no fire wardens guiding/updating guests.

We did an overnight after flying in to Perth. Hotel was easy to access and check in. Apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We walked up the road and found 3 restaurants close by. In the morning we had time to take a free bus in to the city, shop and have breakfast before we returned to the hotel to heck out at 10:00am. So convenient we will stay here again.

It’s not the newest hotels in Perth , but what you get for your money is brilliant . + location ( lots of Asian restaurant within walking distance ) + 10 minute walk to cbd + on-site Parking ( extra fee ) or parking on the street ( free on weekends or between 18.00 - 08.00 ) + Bar / Restaurant with happy hour every day ( 17.30 - 18.00 ) Most the times I booked this hotels I paid around 80 -100 $ per night . Compared to other hotels I stayed in the cbd + the parking stress this is why I review the great southern hotel like this . It’s a good budged Hotel , if you want a bit more luxurious this is not the one .

Convenient location just a short bus ride from the central shopping area. Yellow Cat (free bus on a city loop) stops 50m from the front door. A great price for the space provided. After hours check in was straightforward. Appliances, furnishings and fittings were all well maintained and very clean. There is a small IGA supermarket across the road that stocks everything we needed at reasonable prices - otherwise, we caught a bus from a few blocks away on Adelaide St, that took us to Belmont Shopping Forum where there is a Woolworths & an Aldi, along with Best & Less clothing and other stores. A 10 minute walk from the WACA and a 15 minute walk to the Perth Mint.

We stayed here a long time ago now, thought id posted a review already! Sorry for the delay. The location and price of this place are great. We stayed here when we first arrived in perth and it was just the job. 5 minute walk to the city centre, right near kings park too. The building itself is a little old and dated now but still more than adequate. Free wifi, small kitchette area in our room, laundry downstairs and our room was huge. The staff on reception were great, very helpful, friendly and full of ideas about what to see and do in Australia.

Located in East Perth and with free parking , it's good for those with car. Booked a 1 br and paid another AUD 15 per night at the counter for the extra bed set up in the living room for my kid. I walked to Perth CBD centre too and it's quite a straight forward walk of about ten to 15 mins. For good and value Italian food, the Italian restaurant at their Bailey's Motel a short 5 mins walk away is a great options and which we had 2 of our meals there over the 2 Nights we were in Perth city centre.

Overall our stay was pleasant. The apartment was spacious, quite new in appearance with fully equipped kitchen. Outdoor swimming pool, sauna & gym. Located right next to the Hay street mall. Hotels in Perth are expensive but we booked our room for $170 a night as part of a 20% discount deal & that's great value in Perth. Although we had booked car parking as well & were told on arrival there was no parking left for us even though we had booked already. They told us to park around the corner which cost us $42 and there was only 2 bays on busy Barrick street out the front to use as a loading Zone which one was taken by a Taxi & the other was constantly full. My partner had to do laps of the city for 30min before he could stop to load the car as we were not dragging all our luggage through the city to the public car bay.

We stayed here at the end of a road trip around SW Australia, and really enjoyed our stay. The location cannot be beat - walking distance to just about everything in Fremantle, including the ferry to Rottnest Island. (The concierge was helpful in planning that trip.) Also rode the train into Perth to run an errand, and it was very easy. Loads of great restaurants nearby, including "cappuccino row". Also a 3-screen movie theater just around the corner. One down side is that the pool is quite small, which was OK for our visit as it was a bit rainy and chilly. The staff were wonderful. There was a coin laundry machine across from our room. Bed was very comfortable.

Spinners is definitely one of the best hostels in Perth. The downstairs area is well designed and thought out. The well equipped open kitchen blends into a modern, comfortable dining and lounge area, with big screen netflix, pool table and outdoor barbecue area. There is also a laundry, bathroom and storage area as well. Hostel staff mix with the guests to create a friendly, social atmosphere. Upstairs, the dormitories are fairly basic, with bunk beds and storage lockers. You do have individual power outlets. Some rooms have windows, others skylights. The bathrooms are kept clean and the showers are hot. There are many hostels in Perth, but the quality is below average. Spinners is a new entrant, trying to change that.

This would have to be the best hostel in Perth, esp. for long-term travelers who are looking for a quiet place to get well-deserved rest in between travels. I stayed in a single room, which was the cheapest I could find in the entire state. The internet is excellent here, which is a huge plus and actually quite a rare find in Australia. The manager is extremely friendly and helpful, and gave me a lot of great advice when I first got here. There is a free CAT bus right outside the door, which can take you all over the city for free. The hostel is in a quiet location, away from the party scene (although it is still relatively close-by and easy to walk there if you want to go out), so you can get a good sleep every night. Bathrooms are clean. The room has everything I need: bed, closet/locker and a desk+ chair. I love everything about this hostel! When I am in Perth and need accommodation, I will always choose to stay here! Thank you to all staff who have made my stay wonderful <3
